If you’ve found this spot on my website, you’ve ventured over to the more personal spot of my site.  Three years ago we decided to stop purchasing as much from grocery stores and start raising more of what we eat.  It’s been quite an adventure and we discovered that a lot of people were interested in what we do.  So, here’s where you can learn a bit about my life as the “Farmer’s Wife!”

I have a love for cooking and my husband has a passion for Farming.  Together, we just make sense and our hobbies work in sync. That being said, here’s the place where I will share my recipes and some info about our tiny backyard farm.

Also, I am sure a lot of you are wondering what’s “Arthurs’ Roots”? Well, back when my husband and I first met, we quickly realized that both of our Great Grandfathers had the first name “Arthur.”  That felt pretty special, so much so that we decided that we were going to name our second son “Wyatt Arthur.”  Well, our second son was actually a daughter, so Wyatt Arthur became Wren Josephine.

We have been looking for a new place to call home. Something with a lot of land where we can make these hobbies our life and we’ve decided to name that Farm “Arthurs’ Roots” after our farming Grandpas!  We’re still looking for that slice of paradise, but Arthurs Roots just feels right so we are kicking it off now for our little blog!

If all of this sounds interesting, we welcome you to follow our Instagram Account for a behind the scenes view of our life as beginner Homesteaders.
